We can know a country’s rise and fall [or the degree of its prosperity] by whether its tones are happy or sad.

Sounds, too, can manifest the Ten Worlds. The wondrous sound of the Mystic Law possesses the power to revitalize life.
The beautiful melodies played by our members of the Music Corps and Fife and Drum Corps impart hope and courage to everyone, enriching and uplifting people’s hearts. I would like to thank them for their wonderful concerts and parades, which resemble the performances described in the Lotus Sutra.
Let’s continue forging ahead along the path of peace and culture in high spirits and good cheer, together with our admirable youth who are boldly sounding the bell of a new era!
