Concerning … the practices carried out by Nichiren and his followers now in the Latter Day of the Law, you should understand that, when one practices the Lotus Sutra under such circumstances, difficulties will arise, and these are to be looked on as “peaceful” practices.

During my youth, I copied these words of Nichiren Daishonin in my diary. I want to dedicate this passage to our noble successors of the youth division, who are making admirable efforts, including those participating in the Young Men’s Division Academy and young women’s division Byakuren Group.
The training you undergo in your youth will become a lifelong treasure. Practicing Nichiren Buddhism will enable you to forge the expansive life state of Buddhahood, unshakable in the face of any obstacle.
Let’s continue to advance intrepidly on the path of Soka, together with our wonderful fellow members. I hope you will all lead lives of supreme fulfillment, brimming with eternal good fortune and benefit.
