Strengthen your resolve more than ever. . . . Blue dye comes from indigo, but when something is repeatedly dyed in it, the color is better than that of the indigo plant. The Lotus Sutra remains the same, but if you repeatedly strengthen your resolve [your faith], your color [the brilliance you radiate] will be better than that of others, and you will receive more blessings than they do.

Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is the fundamental law of the universe. When we chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, we align our lives with the Mystic Law and can bring forth power as vast as the universe itself. Chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is also a source of boundless good fortune and benefit.
Our practice of gongyo is a magnificent, solemn ceremony in which we pray for peace throughout the world and the happiness of all living beings.
Each day, with a firm resolve to become “bluer than the indigo,” let’s chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo even more strongly and move everything in the direction of hope and victory.
