One may be letter-perfect in reciting the Lotus Sutra, but it is far more difficult to act as it teaches.

Action is the heart of Nichiren Buddhism. The Soka Gakkai takes pride in the tireless efforts its members have made to realize worldwide kosen-rufu, overcoming every obstacle along the way, in exact accord with the Lotus Sutra and the writings of Nichiren Daishonin.
Taking a single step forward is more valuable than a million idealistic words. Let’s encourage the person in front of us. Let’s summon our courage and reach out to those around us.
The Daishonin is surely aware of the unsurpassed efforts of all the members of our Soka family.
