Just as poison turns into medicine, so do ordinary individuals change into Buddhas. Accordingly we call it the wonderful Law [or Mystic Law].

These are words of encouragement Nichiren Daishonin sent to a disciple who had lost a beloved family member.
The benefit of the Mystic Law is boundless and immeasurable. We can transform all of the sufferings of birth, aging, sickness and death, changing poison into medicine without fail. We can transform all negative karma and together attain Buddhahood without the slightest doubt.
Rising above our own problems and sorrows to take a step forward is the start of our journey to help guide others to developing a life state of enduring happiness.
Whatever happens in life, let’s continue chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and forging steadily onward!
