My mentor, second Soka Gakkai President Josei Toda, declared: “The Soka Gakkai is the king of the religious world!” As such, he entrusted us with the mission, especially in troubled times, of bringing hope to the people, courage to the youth and peace to society.
February, the birth month of Mr. Toda, is the Soka Gakkai’s traditional month of making renewed efforts to share Nichiren Buddhism with others. While encouraging one another, let’s continue forging ahead on the great path of champions of humanity and life. Let’s keep striving dauntlessly—“like the lion king and the eagle”—for the happiness of all people!
