Wrangell-St. Elias, the largest national park in the United States, spans 13.2 million acres, six times the size of Yellowstone National Park. Within its vast reach stand nine of the country’s 16 highest peaks. The Wrangell Mountains are volcanic, but only Mount Wrangell remains active.
