Display the True Strength of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth!

Ikeda Sensei sent the following message to SGI-USA student division members, which was read at a meeting held in Laguna Hills, Calif., on May 24, 2023. 

Nichiren Daishonin states, “These great bodhisattvas [who emerged from the earth] are particularly suited to bring benefit to people in the Latter Day of the Law, like fish who are at home in the water or birds that move freely through the sky” (“On the Five Guides for Propagation,” The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, vol. 2, p. 551). 

Your lives will overflow with the inexhaustible power of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth. While grappling with your daily challenges, you are exerting yourselves for kosen-rufu, which directly links to world peace. Toward this aim, the more you pray earnestly, forge yourself through study and confront hardships and worries unknown to others, the more you will be able to freely display the true strength and life force of a Bodhisattva of the Earth. That will become your lifelong treasure. 

Be convinced that everything you experience during this unparalleled time of youth is training for your future. While harmoniously and cheerfully encouraging one another, please write a personal record of golden triumph.
