Living a contributive life is a source of health and vitality. When we chant and take action for people’s happiness and welfare, we in turn will be protected. Engaging in Soka Gakkai activities boosts our own and others’ energy and radiance. It is the best possible cause we can make for prolonging our lives. Nothing can ever destroy the good fortune we have accumulated in both body and mind through our Buddhist practice.
When battling illness, we are sure to be protected by the Buddhas and heavenly deities throughout the universe. Let’s defeat the devil of illness with the lion’s roar of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and enact a brilliant drama of revitalization, imparting hope and courage to all!
