50 Years of Peace

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the SGI’s founding, SGI-USA is releasing a replica coin based on the commemorative medal from the First World Peace Conference on Jan. 26, 1975. On the front is the event’s theme, “New Waves of Peace.” On its back is the concluding passage of Ikeda Sensei’s serialized novel, The New Human Revolution: “Majestic young eagles bathed in the dawning light of the third millennium” (NHR-30, 826). The commemorative coin is available for purchase online at bookstore.sgi-usa.org, or at select bookstore locations: Florida Nature and Culture Center in Weston, Florida, and SGI Guam Ikeda Peace and Culture Center, in Tamuning, Guam, while supplies last. $8.95
