This year, the SGI-USA is committed to expanding our kosen-rufu movement by focusing on deepening friendships, strengthening community and fostering successors. As part of this effort, the Soka Victory District initiative is being reintroduced to celebrate the growth and success of the districts in this milestone year, in which we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the SGI and launch into the next 50 years of global kosen-rufu, both with our mentor and in his stead.
Districts that achieve the following benchmarks will be recognized as Soka Victory Districts:
•20 in attendance, twice throughout the year.
•20 subscribers to SGI-USA publications.
•2 individuals receive the Gohonzon.
•10 sustaining financial contributors.
Once verified, Soka Victory Districts will be honored with an award and certificate at their monthly kosen-rufu gongyo meetings, plus a mention in an upcoming World Tribune. Please contact your local organization for more information.
