For the English version, please see the February 12, 2021 World Tribune, or visit the link here. 日蓮大聖人の御聖誕から八百年という大きな佳節の二月を、世界の創価家族の皆さまと一緒に迎えるに当たり、一言、メッセージを送らせていただきます。 主人は申しておりました。 ――大聖人は、「悲母の恩を報ぜんために此の経の題目を一切の女人に唱えさせんと願す」と仰せである。だから、大変な時代の中で、世界の女性の幸福と平和の道を切り開いている婦人部・女子部の仲良く朗らかな前進を、何よりもお褒めくださっているよ。 牧口先生と戸田先生のご賞讃も聞こえてくるようだね、と。 昨年来、人類全体が、思いもよらなかったコロナ禍に見舞われています。 犠牲になられた全ての方々のご冥福を心よりお祈り申し上げるとともに、感染の終息、そして全宝友の無事安穏と健康長寿を、真剣に祈り続ける日々です。 この一月、日本の著名な出版社から要請を頂いて、主人が「第三の人生」を生きる方々にエールを送った『多宝抄』という本が文庫化されることになりました。 主人は、新たに発刊に寄せた一文で、新型コロナで 重症化しやすいとされる高齢者の方々を深く案じつつ、アメリカ初訪問以来、六十年にわたって苦楽を分かち合ってきた懐かしい草創の母たちから頂いた、「負けじ魂」光る便りを紹介していました。 たとえば、かえって近隣の方と支え合うおつきあいが深まったことや、オンラインを活用して、なかなか会えない友人や遠方の仲間とも、励ましと学びのネットワークが強まったこと。さらに、若い人たちからの相談も増え、より忙しくなった等々の近況です。
